<description>Hey! Still here and keeping all informed....congrats! My idea is that given the long history of Wim's bios page and it's service to the community (especially builders) is that you could consider now focusing on the many laptop/notebook configurations that keep users in "jail" with whitelisting and other methods of forcing expensive upgrades only from the manufacturers and only on certain expensive (MS$) OS. Users need to be able to determine which OS they use esclusive of manufacturer interests. Also, the open source movement has matured exponentially, yet still the big companies try to keep us as slave to their $$$ agreements. These practices are the equivalent of auto manufacturers forcing car owners to drive on "approved roads only". Thanks for being here all this time (1st time for me: 1998).
Now own a HP dv9000 series laptop w/broadcom (user *HELL*) wireless card and sweating whether I'll be able to keep using the system after $1200 outlay. There's gotta be a better waay!! Take Care. Have A Healthy, Prosperous Day!!
