The board is a Procomp BS61m, with an Intel Celeron and an AWARD BIOS. It recognizes a 40 GB HD, but it hangs when it tries to detect an 80 GB.
I'm looking for a BIOS flash update to make it work. Checked Procomp's website and I have their latest version (v1.3).

Thanks,

Oscar.

Thanks!!! :o)

The upgrade worked flawlessly and the BIOS now recognizes the 80 GB hard drive without any problems.

Thanks! This is exactly the info I was looking for. I was thinking of purchasing a 80 GB drive for my procomp BS61M.

I located the patched bios on http://wims.rainbow-software.org

I was pleased to find that the patch permits a MAX HDD Size of 128 GB

Has anyone tried a 120 G hard drive with the procomp BS61M?

Is it better to use AWDFLASH.exe or UniFlash .exe?
