I can't use MMTool 3 to edit my motherboard bios... with MMTool 2 I can open it up, but after any change on it, it just simply crash.

Is there any way to avoid the error 1007FFh on MMTool 3?

Hello.

Said mainboard has a fullscreen logo I'd like to change. The internal filename is QDI2.BMP, although I can't get any image viewer/editor nor tools like EPACoder to recognize its format.

My guess is that it's a RAW, headerless BMP.

Is it possible, to convert a wph file to bin? :roll:
With an bin File I'm able to remove the FLASH Chip, reprogram and replace it 8)
Unfortunaly new BIOS is also an wph file ...

I am looking for a tool to change the default settings on a computer that has a Phoenix BIOS. I don't need to unlock any hidden menus or anything like that. I simply need to change a couple of default settings. I have the BIOS binary file already. Can someone point me to a shareware tool that can do this?

Hi i recently purchased a Asus A8n SLI/S motherboard for Fujitsu Siemens bios number 0403 which is the latest version on their support site but they have disabled the sli option in the bios its not their at all but i have dowloaded the bios for the A8N SLI/SE which is identical in size to mine but asus bios update tool wont let me flash the bios with it as they have a different bios ...

I have a ASUS P4G800V that the bios flash engine that is on the mobo cd messed up. it had the 1004 AMI bios in it when it worked. any ideas where i can get another chip?? ASUS tech has been worthless. PLEASE HELP ME i love this. computer.

Can anyone explain what's going on here. First let me explain: I have an award bios chip SST39F020A from an HP P2B-VT board I was trying to hotflash using an Abit BE6-II system.

I got the original bios file from HP and using Uniflash 1.47, I force-flash the chip with the bootblock included. After flashing, still the P2B-VT system wouldn't come alive.

I want to change bios logo at HP dx5150s pc, full screen HP logo.
I downloaded latest rom from hp site, and used latest edition of Award Bios Editor (build 29 JAn 2007), so i made logo, 640 x 480 256 colors and used AWBM tools to convert from tiff to v2.0 epa full screen logo.

BUT
after saving room, awflash report bios image cheksum error and cant flash, If use /f then ...

i guess i just dont get it.
can any1 help me?
