Im posting again cos i have an Intel D945GCNL board and the Intel Iflash.exe dont update the bios (using the dos method). Previous bios id sting is blank and cannot update cos bios' id dont match.

Well surely my bios is death but i just want to know who makes Intel Bios', it seems this are not AWARD, phoenix, or the other ones.

The thing is that there is not a way to tell iflash.exe ...

I'd like to replace the PXE boot ROM in a Dell Lattitude D610 and an Asus mobo that is yet to be released. Both bios's are in .ROM format. I tried to use amibcg.exe on the Asus bios but it says there's a CRC error and won't allow me to edit it. I was able to replace the PXE boot ROM in my Award Nvidia mobo bios's with gPXE.

Hi i have an Intel D945GCNL mother board and i cannot update the bios. I have tested the three methods they provide, but no results.
- First trying with the Windows software and the installer tell me that is not for my system.
- The DOS flash cannot update i says "Previous Bios ID:" wich nothing appears (and i suppouse it should appear the old id) and it says the new one and it fails. ...

The bios i'm trying to open has an .exe extension. I am currently using Phonix Bios Editor and Win Rar. When I extract the .exe file (7buj23us.exe) I do not see any files that have a .bin extension. This is for a thinkpad. I am very new to this, any help would be greatly appreciated.
