As mentioned in the Title, i´m owning a DFI DK P45 T2RS Turbo, which got a little bit trouble with my new HDD (WD Caviar Black 1,5 TB).

i recently purchased a adapter that goes from vga to video/s-video out and it does not work with my computer. when i hook it to my tv i get 3 images of the desktop all in black and white. is there a program i can download to help me? or do i need another video card to support this?

I have a Acer Aspire desktop, model M1100 (specs here). My purpose is to make AHCI work for my Crucial M4 SSD, my current Bios doesn't support that. My current Bios is version R01-3, string 10/10/2007-RS290-SB600-6A669FK8C-0.
I want to know if it's a good idea to upgrade my BIOS to version R02-B1, I don't have the release notes.

I have AGP card NVidia 6600, but 2 capacitors blowed up and now I am waiting for their exchange.
I now that there's no support for resolution bigger than 1440x900, but I can't set 1440x900 resolution, maximum wide screen resolution is 1280x720.
Can I set 1440x900 resolution in some way?
