News of Do you need a BIOS update?

Hello. Help please.
I can not set the resolution to 1440x900 integrated graphics card.
I tried to update bios downloaded from here http://www.wimsbios.com/files/vgabiospatched/bios.jsp
Flash utility says error "File size does not match the BIOS from your motherboard"
When I save the original BIOS of the motherboard, it's size is 256 kb, while the downloaded from link was 512 kb.

Iwill ftp and website are defunct. Archive.org shows newest BIOS:

P55XU All Ver. (or Product No:31030A) ,BIOS Date Code: Jul.21.1999 (159KB)

But this is not archived, so the file xu0721.exe is missing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated ...

Bios: ACPI Revision 1007 Beta 002 (it is the newest one from ASUS)

I own a controller card for a logic analyzer made by Tektronix (actually by RadiSys for Tek). This old board made back around
'96 or so uses a Phoenix Bios ver 4.05 and will only support an LCD panel that has a resolution of 640x480. The embedded cirrus logic controller (7543) *will* support 800x600 but the bios/windows driver will not allow it to be set.

I have motherboard Foxconn 915M07C-G-6LS. I cannot find a new BIOS for this. Motherboard often stops. Nothing responds. It looks like a BIOS damage.
I cannot find a BIOS update. There is nothing on the Foxconn's site. It looks like this model isn't exist !

Could you help me ? Or tell me how this motherboard should name ? On the Foxconn's site every motherboard isn't match.
