-The jumper to disable this fuction is in its place.
-This option is disabled in the setup I disable it my self.

I build a PCI to ISA bridge adapter (IT8888F Chip) and I use Gigabyte GA-8I945PLGE-RH mainboad.
This mainboard have not any ISA bus.
Windows detected my pci to isa adapter but not detected any isa card on the my adapter.
I think should change mainboard bios for isa bus

I have a Compaq 1716CL desktop PC. It has an ASUS A8AE-LE Motherboard. The BIOS is Phoenix award bios Core v6.00 PG Revision3.08 09/13/2005. Was the Flash BIOS developed in anticipation of the internet and/or bulletin board systems? Did the developers know that the internet was going to rise, and developed the Flash BIOS so that it can take advantage of the internet? Is this documented in any sources?
