My mother board model is P4i45GV ASRock. My system does not work untill i remove the CMOS battery and refix it. when i shut down my system and again press my reset or power botton it does not work. Every time I have to remove and agian insert the CMOS battery to start my system. And also every time i have to set up CMOS setting. After this i don't have to press my ...

My systems VGA port recently went out. I took my HDD and put it in my other motherboard. When I start it up, it says "Diskette Drive 0 Seek Failure, click f1 to continue ot f2 for setup utility" I tryed to click F1 but nothing happens. WHat would the diskette drive have to do with the HDD?

I am trying to update the bios settings from a Linux OS(preferebly with a live image).
The settings i want to change are mostly boot orders, like set the boot order to boot from hard disk, USB, PXE etc.
The options will be provided from the TFTP file and the program would change the setting as per the options set.

Hello everyone

I can't seem to be able to boot from a USB Memory Stick even though i can chose USB-FDD, USB-ZIP, USB-CDROM as boot devices (check picture).
Can my BIOS be able to boot from USB but my motherboard not?
Do i need to update my BIOS?
All my USB ports are working fine and i tried to boot from 2 USB sticks without success.

Hello again,Thans everybody for help.I find new problem.When I start computer it's appear "ATA RAID BIOS SETTINGS UTILITY" on screen and scan for devices.
Chanel 0 Master: No Devices
