after i install xp sp2 ,my pc start with admin interface not usual interface,is this related to bios conflict with sp2?my mother board has via p4x266a where 2 find audio driver?

Do i have 2 update it?

I would be grateful if anyone can tell if the 030808.zip Bios update for the Matsonic MS8308EP mobo provides the mobo with support for Sata HDD from a PCI card as a boot option.

My current 2001 Bios doesn't show Sata as a boot option and doesn't find a Sata HDD in the configuration screen. The Sata drive is available after windows XP has loaded from my IDE drive.

What is the best nVidia chipset motherboard for overclocking? I'd like to get an nVidia chipset motherboard because I like nVidia graphics cards and would like to be able to SLI. However I've heard they don't overclock as well as he x38 boards for example. What is the best nvidia chipset mobo for overclocking?

hi, i have this OEM 3945abg mini pci-e wireless card that came from an IBM x61 notebook.
i want to use this card on my other notebooks, but unfortunately , i encountered with a problem. windows keeps saying that "device cannot start (code 10)", and after googling around, i found out that IBM OEM wifi cards won't work on a "non-IBM" notebook.

is there a workaround on this one? can i change the PCI-ID of ...

My PC (S/N 031917720049) has recently stopped booting up correctly. When I turn the power on text reads "Please insert BIOS file".
I do not have any of the disks or litriture that came with the PC. From reading on the net it
seems to be a case of just getting the BIOS file and inserting the disk at
startup is this the case? If so could you please let me know what file ...

soooooo yeah bios does not come up at start up. this is the second time this has hap'd. i unplugged my video card and plugged it back in....that wrked last time, not this time tho. any ideas?
