I now have the dubious pleasure of fixing up a M756MRT. :lol:

Where is the revision indicated on the board? Any BIOS issues I should know about? And how do I get the HDD into 32-bit mode?

After upgraded my bios, a HOT628 and running Win98, my network card and modem would not work correctly. They would be installed but when dialing up with the modem, for example, an error message would come up saying that the modem was not properly installed. And same with the network card, in Control Panel->System, there would be an error there saying the network card did not exist or the drivers were not working properly. Both ...

OK I keep this error message on one of my PC's
Bios(62): Hard disk 1 Failure, Status=20h
Bios(23): Hard disk init Failed

I have taken hard disk out and boots up fine on other computors
Tried two different hard drives still get same error messages
both these hard drives boot up fine in other computors
Have tried boot up disks can get into C:\ drive but when I execute win file I ...

Think I screwed up my settings.
Was installing new printer/copier on win2000, had to change paralel setting to ECP, well I did more than that. I set to Optimal Settings and now I get nothing. The compter runs up but I have no picture. Monitor seems like it is in sleep mode. Tried yanking the battery from motherborad to see if it would reset to default settings, but alas nothing.
What can I do?

I have a Asus K7V-T with latest beta BIOS. Sometime ago I accidently hit a key during the POST screen of the Award Medallion BIOS v6.0. Then a screen appeared where I could select the Boot device for the next startup. Now I need this function but I cannot figure out which key it was. Can somebody please help me.

I am new to your forum and new to BIOS workings so please exuse my ignorance.
I have a silly question though - Is there such a utility that will allow me to change bios passwords on all make/models of PC's?

I would like to know if any one has heard that there are some motherboards which now have bios which can be automatically updated by the manufacturer's factory? is this correct, what can we knw about this feature in the bios.

Hello, i have problems with a motherboard (KM-T5-V3+, PI, Socket 7). It worked properly till i changed the HD, CD and videocard. When i turn on the pc i hear the memory counting and then i get 3 beeps and a zoom (1 long beep and 2 small beeps). Does anyone know what the problem is? I have tried everything in my opinion
