News of My CPU isn't recognized

I just put a new motherboard in. It's a MSI 745 Ultra and my processor is a AMD Athlon 1700+ (1466 mhz). But my computer reads the processor at 1100 mhz. What can do to get this changed.


CPU FSB Clock Setting Options

100-132MHz 1:1, 3:4

133-165MHz 4:3, 1:1, 4:5

166-200MHz 5:4, 1:1

i have a "4092g80g.awd" file,it's newer than what i can find on fic web,
its bios number is :

but,it still cannot display the correct type cyrix m2 cpu,
who kave a newer bios version for it?

I had just bought a new CPU Intel Socket370 1.2GHz.
In the manual of my MB Gigabyte GA-6VXE7+ is written, that it can make a CPU with 1 GHz or higher. Even I can set the freq. ratio to 9.

But when I build it in, the Motherboard makes no beep. I have the newest Firmware installed (6vxe7+_fa) and obvious I have PCB3.0 My Manual said that, but I don't know where can I see ...

According to Wim's info it contains AMD 751 chipset with Award BIOS v6.00. The brand is Microstar. It runs Windows 98.
When I replace the CPU with a Thunderbird 900, the opening screen shows the following:

My ECS EliteGroup P6SET-ML board is socket 370 so I got a Via.
My motherboard supplier's webpage had a chart of CPU compatibility.

I have a Gateway G6-233 and it appears to use an Intel PD440FX motherboard with AMI BIOS string 1.00.01.DT0T

It seems that this board might be a Gateway customized version of the generic Intel PD440FX motherboard, since Intel's AMI BIOS string ends in "DT0", not "DT0T".
