I have a big problem with my
02/23/1999-692-596-8671-2A6LGB09C-00 (Biostar - M6VBE) motherboard. I used a Pentium 3 500mhz, and upgraded to a Pentium 3 1ghz. However, the Mainboard detects the processor, but only with "750E Mhz"!. What can I do? I need help ;_;!

I have a U-Buddie PC that is to be used as a car-pc one day. The mainboard is an ECS ES4M+ v1.9 and the CPU was a 1.7GHz Celeron, which worked fine. The Bios is an AMIBIOS.

I just wanted to replace it with a Mobile Pentium 4 - M 2.0 CPU because it has a way smaller energy consumtion. You may want to check Celeron and Pentium at the Intel site.

Hi, I'm trying to solve an issue with my Asus K7V RM motherboard and my AMD Athlon 1Ghz processor. When the CPU is installed, the board won't boot. Both components test good with other systems I have here in the house, so neither one is fried.
Board's in “jumperfree” mode already, so according to the manual, it should autodetect, but it does not.

This is a Trigem Mobo. It is Intel 845 chipset.

I cannot find any details on CPU support but have found a BIOS update for the
OEM, in this case, a company called Advent. The system is an Advent 3316.

The system came with a s478 Northwood 3000/533/512 SL6S5

Will it support Northwoods over 3 GHz and/or Prescott over 3. Ghx in s478 package?

Anyone here who managed to get a Mitac BK6731 to work with a Pentium III 700/100/256 ?

I made a Biosupgrade with rom.by's biospatcher so that HDD's over 65gig and new CPU's should be accepted.
Also - the motherboard has got an Intel 810 chipset, so the 100mhz variant of the PIII should be accepted.

I have a 5 year old Packard Bell and the old 1 gig celeron coppermine cpu socket 370 packed up, I am temporarily using a 667 coppermine which is too slow, I have managed to get a tualatin 1,000A 256 100 1.475 which I would like to use but the system doesn't recognise it.

I have a OEM mb with Intel 945g chipset. It currently has a celeron 3.2 LGA proc in it. When i tried to upgrade to a Duo core it would load up to the OS and then crash with a IRQ..error.

I was wondering if its my BIOS? It seems to recognize the new processor as a duo core and even booted up once or twice but consistently fails to load properly.
