I made the mistake of buying an hp without realizing the very limited bios that it has. The motherboard is a MSI MS-7778. I have searched for a bios that I can flash to rid myself of the limitations and am unable to find a solution. it is an AMI bios version 8.11. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it!

Help! I cannot boot consistently after a shut down or restart. It takes several reboots to get the system back up. It hangs with no video output on first few tries. I get video back and it hangs during POST a few times; then it boots and runs fine until a re-boot.

I am trying to use afulnx currently and need to install the AFULNX driver as prompted but keep on having below error:

- Program initializing ..
- Make AFULNX driver .... fail

My problem is that i'm trying to install Win8 on my Dell GX270. Win8 needs nx bit enabled, my cpu has this function but Dell in their wisdom haven't put this capability in their BIOS. My machine has been considerably upgraded and is well within the requirements of Win8. So my question is is there anyway to hack/mod the BIOS to be able to enable nx bit in my cpu?

I`ve updated my bios from the official motherboard webpage,then i`ve reseted to defaluts (bad choice) all the values in bios.After that i`ve a black screen untill windows starts.I`ve tried rentering bios again but can`t do because of the black screen.Can`t see anything.What can i do?
