PC bios for Rage 128

Hi, hopefully somebody can help me!

I know the question has been asked before, but I've not seen anything that helps me.

I have a 12 year old PC and have been given a Rage 128 from a Mac G3. I would like to install the card to release the CPU from doing the graphics work as well (it is a 466 MHz celeron with integrated graphics). Currently the device manager says the card cannot ...

1366x768 resolution problem with KSOM+

Greatings to all!
I'm having trouble to update my video m/b.
It's a ECS KSOM+ v5.2A with a BenQ G922HDL monitor (1366x768 native resolution).
I used the patched bios downloaded from this forum (now vbios version is 2.30.01),
and updated the video driver from SiS with the file uvga3_373.zip, as instructed.
Still, the max resolution I can get is 1024x768!!!
Can someone help me? Any ideas to solve the problem? Am I doing something wrong? ...

Do I Really need a BIOS patch?

I have a SIS630 integrated video card on a PCChips 810LR, and currently, I can't use my 19" display on Win XP.

Thing is, I was flirting with linux, and Ubuntu made no questions regarding video drivers whatsoever, and I could use the 1440x900 resolution freely. So, I know for sure there IS a way around, otherwise I couldn't have used 1440x900 in ubuntu without a BIOS patch.

Any ideas?

Need BIOS patch for P4S8X-MX

I just bought Widescreen monitor today, with optimum resolution 1360x768. I was happy until then I realized my SiS 661 VGA onboard card does not support this resolution on Windows. Right side of screen is cut half.

Could someone (especially cp) help to provide the patch BIOS? I tried to check download page but my motherboard is not on the list. My recent BIOS file can be downloaded here:

VGA

Will the the nvidia 9600gt work properly using a dvi to vga adapter? My monitor only supports a vga connector, not dvi. The 9600gt only has a dvi connection, so if use a dvi to vga adapter to connect my monitor, will i get a good and stable image on the screen? Also, will i lose any picture quality?

BIOS patch for widescreen support? / MX46-533V II

Hello.

I recently had to buy a new monitor. It's an Acer P215H, 21.5" widescreen monitor, maximum resolution: 1920 x 1080.

However, this computer has no widescreen support, and the largest ratio I can get on it is 1280 x 1024. Which is bad because it's not even widescreen.

I'm pretty sure I need to update my BIOS. Here is the information gathered:

My display adapter is listed as:
SiS 650_651_M650_M652_740

The driver's provider is ...

LCD seems magnetized

I installed the update bios on a Gigabyte motherboard 8S661FXMP-RZ and did the update driver to version V3.90.
I connected a monitor LG W1752T ran on 1440x900 resolution and 60 hertz, but the screen is shaking like an old CRT monitor magnetized or as if with some electrical interference.
Already tested the monitor on another machine and it is OK. Also installed the drivers I downloaded from LG's website and also did not work.
Does ...
