News of Video (VGA) and other BIOS/Firmware

I tried adding some more RAM, and ever since I get no life at all out of this MOBO - no beeps, no LED for the HDD, no display.

Checked out Elite's site and there is an old post from someone with the same problem - but no resolutions. Mailed the guy and he suggested 'wiggling the RAM around'. Yes, I did try it - No, it's ain't worked!

Anyone had this before, or have ...

I have two Nvidia Quadro NVS400 cards and want to run two IBM T221 Flat Screens with that simultaniously.Is there a bios flash necessary and/or available?? Thanx

Hi =) i have recently bought a Tornado Geforce 4 MX video card and can not get it to work.

My problem is that i have been running on board graphics and everytime i think i have the card going, i go back and check which device its using and it has always reset back to the onboard graphics...531x on SiS 630/730(after Reboot) :(

I jsut finished putting together a new machine with a NV7-133R motherboard and it won't boot. At first I had difficulty getting the video (Gainward GeForece 2 MX 400 w/ 64 MB) to work. I had to clear the BIOS a couple of times. Finally, started working and then I started to load the OS (XP) and it crashed at the last stage (some kind of page error - I think). Anyway tried to restart ...

I can find rev 2 on the Elite page but not the one I need.

I have SIS 630 video adapter in my portable with 8MB shared memory.
Since this is no good for playing games, I was wondering if I can upgrade this. I've done some research and found that you normally can change
this setting (amout of RAM) in the BIOS. However, in my case, it is
fixed in the BIOS, so I can't change this. Does anyone have a clew/idea/sollution on how to unlock this ...

i need a VGA BIOS for a Teppro Hulk III Banshee PCI video card. teppro website doesn't give support for this card anymore...
if anyone knows where can i find that bios please let me know...

for some reason when i switched computers i need a bios or firmware update for the computer to have "enough information" to "start the driver" . " " = actual words used in the driver wizard :P...n e ways just wondering where in the world i can get a bios or firmware update.....i have a datageneral ct + computer with a acer motherboard. Hi. I got a 3D Graphics Accelerator card a while back (a Radeon 7200 SDR 32 MB) but I could never get it to work. My friend told me I'd have to alter my BIOS to recognize PCI cards before AGP cards. Could someone tell me how I would do that?

I have an old intel mb, and I don't see where can I set up the cd rom, they just show entries fro hard disk. I tried to update the bios but the version I found on intel site was bulit on 1995.

Any suggestion?
