News of What does this BIOS or Jumper setting do?

The BIOS settings for my Gigabyte MBd list three USB categaories that I cannot find any refernce to.
It's an AWARD BIOS and in the "Advanced Chipset Features":
1. USB ParkMode: Enable(set)/ Disable
2. USB Perf Mode: Compatible(set)/Moderate/Optimal/High
3. USB Read Requests From: non-ISO/ISO Queue(set)

Anyone know what these are and more importantly, what does changing them do?
Tried a couple of forums without success.

I have a k7pro mobo with an ami bios, however when i search for beepcodes i find this:
ami 4 beeps : timer not operational
award 1 long 3 short : bad video adapter or vid mem

I recently installed a pci usb card because my old computer (pentium 486 233mHz) doesn't have any usb ports. Windows 98SE doesn't detect it and there's no USB listing under System Properties/Device Manager. The USBman.com site suggests I need to update my BIOS but I can't seem to find an update for it. The ID# is 51-0506-001437-00101111-071595-M571-007_66_M571 and chipset is SiS 5597 rev 2 . If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks! ...

hi. am trying to access the bios without luck. it's a 486 sx bios v1.2r4.
also trying to access bios on a compaq deskpro series 3564. i am trying to make one decent system for my daughter out of two old dinosaurs and a lot of "spare" parts,

I have an old chaintech mobo (5vgm m201 - intel i430vx chipset) and was wondering what cpu's this will support.
I have an old pentium 120 now running at 133 but would like to exchange this for a faster one.
Will a cyrix 6x86 pr266 work on this board (busspeed goes up to 75mhz so it would be running at 183mhz instead of 208mhz)?
