Don't ask how to hack password. (BIOS Passwords)

I've been working on altering the BIOS of the 7900 GS go in order to change the clock frequencies, but Gateway seems to have locked them down to the extreme. It has the basic lockdown which disallows BIOS changes (to clocks) from software, so I figured I would just edit the BIOS, burn a bootdisc and flash the new one... but a problem arose when I opened up the BIOS to edit it, using NiBiTor. See the following pic...

These are supposedly my standard clock frequencies... what sort of block has Gateway placed to cause this?

And the fact that it is unsupported should not matter, considering this type of BIOS editing and flashing works on the Dell 7900 GS go's.

...and I've also tried a different Nvidia BIOS editor, which came up with similar results.

So, are there any ideas on how to get past this block and get the BIOS files to be read into these programs correctly?
Thanks in advance.

I would recommend to leave bios unchanged and instead change video chip clock timings with Powerstrip utility
