Hi

I've got the Procomp BS61B mobo. Could anybody tell me where download the award flash utility and the latest bios file for this mother? Because there isn't manufacturer site.
Regards.

get an award flasher...a huge search engine will help finding the right thing. oh, and you can use uniflash, too. check: http://www.uniflash.org
If you email me include [WIMSBIOS] in the subject.

Can I use the award flash bios utility of another motherboard manufacturer (for the same chipset, of course)? Or must it be of the Procomp manufacturer?
Thanks.

It is possible to use other standard award flashprogs if they are not too old, should be of the 6xx or 7xx series. But for a board that old it would be better to use Uniflash as it supports chipsets and Flashroms of this era without problems while newer Award Flashprogs may have dropped support for older chipsets or Flashrom types.

Thanks a lot for the responses.
I've flashed the mother successfully.
