please need new vbios

my laptop is an aspire 5002 wlmi
my vbios version is 2.27
integrated video is SIS M760gx
cannot get 1440 900 resolution
sis webside says i need newer bios version 2.28
acer doesnt have neither esupport who are linked to phoenix technologies

no bios patching for laptops.

but your video bios should be recent enough to support widescreen resolutions. check the thread i posted above and install the latest SIS VGA drivers linked there.
