I have an ACER Aspire 5315-051G12Mi with a Agere HDS modem, ALPS Touchpad, Realtek sound, Windows Home Premium and Celeron 530 (1.73) Processor. I recently flashed my BIOS from its initial version 1.18 to version 1.31 only to find that it would no longer detect my touchpad, sound or modem. I returned my BIOS to version 1.18 only to find this problem still remains on the original 1.18 BIOS version which it formerly worked correctly on. Everything else seems OK. Any ideas?

flash it to version 1.31 and reinstall the drivers.
