looking for a bios update for this board. having issues with anew video card posting. my os is vista 64 and the hp update will not run

I lost USB connections after updating to v 3.15 of the BIOS from HP's website. I have Vista Ultimate installed.

Vista 64 is indeed an unsupported platform for the bios update so you need to use the bootable iso. The USB problem is unrelated to the 3.15 bios, most likely it's something in windows itself that is broken, tried a fresh install?

I'm looking for an bios update for this motherboard.
Currently running no OS.
I'm having problems installing new operating system.
My Bios is 3.07 07/29/2005
Core Version 6.0

I noticed on Hp's website that they have version 3.15 in an exe type file.
They mentioned it was a fix for vista.
Is there any difference between the versions?
Also Hp's fix is only good if you have an OS installed.
