first of all: nothing is known that VIA based chipsets suffer from the same issue that SIS based chipsets suffer from. actually the problem with SIS chipsets is mere WINDOWS DRIVER based than anything else.
and next: the chipset is quite new and so is the board. i don't quite see the problem.
btw. did you try setting widescreen modes? which driver did you use?
