Hi everybody,

I want to know that I have ASUS P5W DH Deluxe motherboard, whose bios are corrupted now... now can I use my old ASUS motherboard(P4BGL-MX) for flashing bios chip of new motherboard.... both motherboards are compatible of PLCC bios chip....

look like some motherboard doesn't support large chips.. for example.. on asrock p4vt8+ only works chips with 2mbit.. not 4mbit...
if your p4bgl-mx can read p5w hd bios chip then you can flash the correct bios. You will need do a hot swap in bios'es, after boot, remove the original bios and put the chip you want to flash..
