ASUS P5N32-E SLI PLUS dead after a "ROMSIP table update

hello,
seems like my mobo did not like too much a slighty overclock i made, as it freezed (i waited for 10 mins) while permorming a "NEW CPU FOUND, ROMSIP TABLE UPDATING... (or somethink like that)", so i had to manually cut the power off.
on reboot just a blank screen and no POST, no beeps, nothing... and NO seek for a floppy to perform the boot block recover sequence.
so, i would ask if there's a way to FORCE the mobo to do that boot block stuff, regardless if the bios is ok or not.

thanks in advance.

p.s. i already tried to clear the cmos in any way... ( i'm not so noob :D )
