Need patched BIOS for 03/31/2000-KOB-693a-DCS-KOB693aC-00

I have a Mercury motherboard with the following BIOS string:
03/31/2000-KOB-693a-DCS-KOB693aC-00.
The processor is Intel Celeron 800 Mhz and the BIOS is Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG. My old hard disk which was 20GB in capacity crashed and now I am forced to use a Seagate 80GB hard disk since that is the minimum capacity available in the market today.

Also please tell me how do I upgrade my BIOS as my 20GB hard disk has crashed. I read some details about flashing BIOS on the following URL http://www.biosmods.com/guides/How_to_flash_a_BIOS.php, but not sure that is the correct way of doing it.

Thanks in advance,
Arinjay

I found a workaround to my problem. I used the capacity limitation jumper on my 80GB hard disk and now the BIOS happily detects it as a 32GB hard disk. Although the hard disk capacity is reduced but at least it is better to have my PC up and running rather than refreshing the complete hardware.

Thanks,
Arinjay

if you are using Windows 2000/XP or Linux read this:

If you email me include [WIMSBIOS] in the subject.
