Postby eckzr » Tue Oct 07, 2008 4:14 am

the computer model is a: Sony Vaio PCV RX-752

with a SIS650 motherboard P4S266-VX

i know its outdated because every time i boot it up it says error with BIOS update

i tried a BIOS update from Sony, but it was old, back in 2002 (thats like when i bought the system xD) so that didn't do anything

before some guy tells me to use google...

i have spent at least 2 weeks googling
i need this BIOS because i upgraded my CPU from the built in 2ghz to a 2.5ghz and added 1gb of ram along with a new GeForce 7600 GS. Yet, the CPU speed doesnt feel any different.

I used this program to check my system for drivers and BIOS updates
but it wants to charge me $30 for the link to the BIOS.

Thats the last resort

help me out here gentlemen!

Thanks.

btw. the Sony VAIO support site was no.1 hit for the search with 'sony vaio support'
If you email me include [WIMSBIOS] in the subject.
