Aspire 1600 BIOS - Black/Blank Screen

Hi,

this is my first post.

I have an Acer Aspire 1600, 1601LC On the Sticker. I flashed the bios then received blank screen. I already read the blind flash.

My concern, is that will the blind flash work for my acer model? This model has its own floppy drive. I've tried usb pen drive and floppy but no lock. The CD-DVD drive lights up and seems to read during power on. I contacted Acer, but not much reply. Acer asked for the serial and then that's it end of communication. Sorry ACER just being honest.

Does anyone know if this supports boot block function?

is this a genuine Acer machine or an OEM one for medion or PackardBell on which you tried an Acer bios?

It's a genuine Acer Machine, ACER Aspire 1600. 1601LC On the sticker.
