Hi there!

I have flashed my old mobo with patched BIOS (for 32&64GB bug) and after succesfull flash in Uniflash, the mobo stops on start with showing message: "Celeron (Mendocino) at "

and then nothing. I also tried Celeron Coppermine but nothing changed. No floppy, no keyboard is reacting.

Mobo's manufacturer: Procomp Informatics B687ZX. BIOS is AWARD v4.51PG. And original one had this bios string:

03/02/1999-i440ZX-ALI513-2A69KPNDC-00

after flash, string changed to:

04/01/2004-i440ZX-ALI513-2A69KPNDC-00

And I also tried another bios chip from AWARD, but that bios just beep.
First: 1 long, 2 short beep (lo-beep)
Few seconds after: neverending hi-beeps

--------
What's wrong? How can I reflash it to previous BIOS?

Thanks for your help

Something is wrong with your memory sticks or your video card. Swap either one with known good ones.

I've solved it. Hot flash in similar mobo. Computer goes fine, like before, but with one little difference. I have used patched .bin file from Rainbow :) It should accept whole 80GB HDD, but reads only 64GB. Hmm, it doesn't matter, because 64GB are much better then nothing (mobo with original bios totaly ignored that disk)

But thanks for your try to help me.
