which errors occur and when do they occur?

fyi: the mainboard should be an AOpen MK33.

if i should give advice on the few information that i have right now i'd check the following:
1. bulged caps
2. overclocked cpu/ram
3. poor (cpu) cooling
4. defective ram
5. poor/defective powersupply

When windows is booting up (loading bar with xp image above it)
Computer automatically shuts off then restarts and repeats this several times. Then it notices it didn't start properly and says windows did not start with all those options below it (safe mode, safe mode with networking, start normal etc.) then after you pick a choice there is a slight chance it will actually load windows or it will turn off and restart, repeating what i was talking about before.

I got the bios so I'll try flashing it.

actually exactly this derives from leaking/bulged/damaged caps. go through the list i posted and check everything before flashing the BIOS. if the machine restarts while you are flashing you'll certainly end up with a dead machine.

FYI i fixed the erors and tryed to update the bios it says WRONG MOTHERBOARD

so i dont have a Aopen Mk33 but it looks strikingly the same.... the green box which on the mk33 says Aopen mine says nothing!

read this, he has my exact bios ID and read the last post:

http://www.motherboards.org/forums/view ... bca0bdc8a8

The board is already identified as being the Aopen S21 which is an OEM version of the MK33 as used in several IBM Netvista series. As for Everest, it will tell you the generic chipset limits, not the actual board limits...

If that guys right i have a Aopen S21 but i cant find it anywhere on the Aopen website!!

Aopen S21 which is an OEM version of the MK33
that guy is me and I've ripped the IBM bios to make sure that was it.

The reason it doesn't show up on the Aopen site is because it is OEM, this means IBM has to do support as opposed to a retail board where Aopen would do this.
