I'm looking for a patch for my cute TX97-E so I can use my new 80GB in there.

There is supposed to be a description how to patch the latest bios up to >128GB; though I couldn't find it.

Does anyone have the patch for my board, or does know how to patch it?

Thanks for any help

You should see 80GB in the configuration table. And in OS too.

OS sees 80GB, though table just shows 80, I mean 80 and no MB or GB. I just installed RedHat and am able to use the full size.

Therefor thanks again, great work :D

Yes, the Standard CMOS setup will show only 80 (adding MB or GB would require some more code to add). The configuration table that is shown before OS start should show 80GB.

Hello, I could also use this patch. I have a TX97, no E, but it looks like they take the same images. I upgraded to ASUS ver 112 from their FTP and still no support for >32GB. If someone could send me this patch I'd very much appreciate it.

Thanks

TX97 and TX97-E are DIFFERENT boards. Do NOT use TX97-E BIOS. You can get BIOS patched to work with HDDs up to 64GB at http://wims.rainbow-software.org/
