My acer 5920g laptop was working fine and had the latest bios 1.3818. When i saw that the video memory was fixed by the latest bios to 8mb fixed(non changeable).

I used windowsxp and flashed the bios to an older version of 1.3508. After which now my laptop led's are on but nothing can be seen on the screen(blank). I gave it to the acer people but they told me that i may have to change my motherboard. Please help me. I tried using blindflash by using a pen drive but wasnt successful. If somebody can help me or make me a crisis recovery disk iso format to download i will be very thankful. :cry: :cry: :cry:

see biosxp.net, the guy can take off the chip, reflash it, and solder it back.
