hi, i downloaded the patched bios from this site, (2.80) and updated my motherboard bios. Alright, but then i run windows xp, and although the vga bios version is 2.30, i can't go higher than 1024x768. i also installed the unigva3 from this site... i get lost. please help.

unpack (DON'T install) the new driver somewhere on your harddisk. uninstall the current vga driver COMPLETELY and reboot. wait for windows to ask for a driver disk once you logged in. select manual installation and point the dialog to the directory where you unpacked the new driver. wait for the installation to finish. done.

bad news, it didn't work.
Here's what i get. i even uninstalled vga drivers with "Driver cleaner pro."
then i did what you said and these are the results:

the samsung page says that the native resolution of your display is: 1360 x 768
it is not supported by the video bios and since the SiS windows drivers only rely on the video bios there's currently no way to have it supported. use Linux with its excellent 3rd party drivers instead or buy an agp/pci addon card.
