Windows XP see's the new drive and is active. aslo 40g HD is the one with the problem :twisted: :twisted:

It looks like your motherboard is the Aopen AP5TC. Get the latest official BIOS for your motherboard from here

http://www.aopen.com/tech/download/mbbios/ap5tc.htm

(which by the way has all kinds of nice enhancements)

or the latest Beta BIOS from here

http://www.aopen.com/tech/download/mbbi ... .htm#AP5TC

and ask Rainbow (a moderator) in the Hard Drive forum here if he can patch it to see Hard Drives > 32 GB.

Sorry, I forgot this thread. There is no AP5TC Beta BIOS on that page. I sent the patched BIOS by e-mail.
