Hi,

I know there are many threads like this with peole wanting to disable the onboard graphics card but I wanted to ask you guys if you think its possible to hack the bios to disable the onboard graphics card?

I have an HP magnetite gl8e motherboard (Asus ynrc-br) socket 479 ATI IXP 460 + SB460.

Is it possible to crossflash this mothearboard with an Asus or other bios to enable more options in the bios menus?

I have tried open the bios with Phoenix bios editor and modbin6 but none of them can open the bios, they both give errors.

I would be very happy for any input :)

Thanks a lot guys!

UPDATE: I now can extract the video rom, modify and put it back or delete it.

If I delete the video rom and try to boot up is that a guaranteed way to brick the board or will it allow me to boot my external pci card instead?
