Update Asrock P4i45D 1.20 Bios to 2.3

Hello! I'm trying to update my board bios to the last known version, which is 2.3 according to the manufacture's website.

I want to update bios version because the old version i have doesn't allow DDR400 memory modules.

What i want to know is if i can get from anywhere 1.20 bios in case the flash update with 2.3 version doesn't go well, so i can reflash with the old version, and keep the computer as it was before.

It seems the update should work perfectly, according to Asrock website, but it's the first time i'm updating a bios and i'm kinda scared

Asrock usually lists all old Bios files but not on the page you listed. That sounds like a wrong motherboard or wrong motherboard revision.
But I found a P4i45D+ using 1.x Bios:
