reference site for BIOS/CMOS settings

Can anyone recommend a good site(s), source(s) or reference(s) for explanations or definitions of BIOS features. I'm not necessarily looking for whether something should be enabled or disabled, but rather what a particular feature does and how it interacts with HW or OS's.

It seems like it's hit or miss for finding the info via a Google search - the biggest down side to Googling "Execute Bit Support", for example is you get all of the reviews, ads, and anything else where someone has listed the BOS settings of a particular MB.

I was hopeful when I found the thread "What does this BIOS or Jumper setting do?" here at Wim's, but it just doesn't get much traffic.

Thanks, in advance,

GeoD

A list of BIOS/CMOS settings is really something I should add on Wim's BIOS. It's however a lot of work :)

I would recommend http://www.techarp.com/show.aspx?fileID=18 in the mean time :)
