i burned out my hdd(4.3GB),i bought a 40GB HDD,can i use 40GB with ATC-5030 (no new bios flashed)?

It works...

YES YES YES

I flashed my board(ATC-5030) with the bios you send :

"04/30/1999-i430TX-SMC67X-ATC-5030C-BP
ATC-5030 VER:1.0 07 GS"

and it is now working with 40GB(Maxtor,5400 rpm) HDD.
