Greetings,

I recently purchased a Dell Latitude Z600. It has two internal SSD's but only allows you to select IRRT, which is effectively RAID 1. I would like to update the option ROM to enable the option to use RAID 0.

The laptop uses the ich9m-e chipset, which supports RAID 0/1/5.

Is it possible to modify the bios to allow this functionality?

Can the HDR package be modified to include a different Intel Option ROM?

Here is a link to the bios itself: http://ftp.dell.com/bios/Z600_A02.EXE

Thanks in advance.
