Hello, to all of You on Wimsbios,

I am new to Your forum (just registered).

So my question is can I run a Pentium Dual core e5200 on chipset nForce4 XE.
The mobo is Elitegroup C19-A SLI link: http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Produc ... 24&LanID=0

I see that it has same chipset as Elitgroup NFORCE 570 SLIT-A link: http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Produc ... 24&LanID=0

I know that I have to change some cpu microcode in BIOS and i've read here that it should be done via hex editor. The thing is that I suck in HEX editing... So please help me with some sort of guidence!!!

Thanks.

CPU support does not only depend on chipset, also depends on power circuits on the board. The older board cannot supply the proper power layout for the newer processors.
