Acer Asset Tag Utility for Windows

We have about 400 Acer Veriton L410 desktop PC's for which we need the Chassis Asset Tag set (SMBIOS Type 3).
Acer Support cannot help us with a utility that can set this under Windows.
Does anyone know a way how to do this?

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/libr ... 17503.aspx shows you some info on how windows is handling this stuff. But this is for viewing only.

It seems if you want to write in there, your OEM (Acer) must provide for this tool like Dell and HP do for their hardware:

With your answer from Acer, I think you need to rely on the ole Adidas network (e.g. walking from system to system and do it manually)....
