What motherboard slot does the Intel i7 processor fit into? I'm wondering what slot the Intel i7 processor fits in on a motherboard. Sorry, but I'm kind of a noob at this. Thanks.

The i7 comes in LGA1366 (i7-9xx series) and LGA1156 (i7-8xx series) for desktops, there's the i7-8xx i7-7xx and i7-6xx series for laptops not sure of the sockets for those. I can't blame you for getting confused.
