Satellite P100 10M BIOS BAD FLASH

Recommended by Wim's BIOS...

Hi.

I Flashed my Satellite P100 with wrong BIOS and when finished it completely died (will not even attempt POST). I have a little SMD programming experience and a suitable 8 pin SOIC test CLIP.

Does anyone know which chip on this Notebook's MB contains the BIOS information? If I could locate the correct chip I couls possibly re-program using the appropriate programmer.

I think there's at least one extra protective layer in between you flashing the chip directly. Better check where the nearest Toshiba service center is and go there with the laptop and the original receipt of purchase.
