Hello everybody, I'm a new user of this forum and I have found this interesting topic.
I have a pc desktop IBM/Lenovo PC300 6345, and I would like to increase the maximun ram accepted. Actually, bios allows only 2x256 MB pc133 sdram, I would like to install 2x512 MB ram.
I have downloaded last version of bios from Lenovo official site, but still it is not possible to install more than 2X256 Mb.

Do somebody knows an unofficial/beta bios who allows to install 2x512 Mb?

Thanks in advance.

Not going to happen. the Intel i810 chipset used on this 6345 board has a maximum support of 512MB total memory. Hardware limit, no bios will change that.
