Dell Optiplex 745 doesn't recognize Pentium Dual Core

Recommended by Wim's BIOS...

I have a Dell Optiplex 745, it is an LGA775 Core 2 Duo machine with 65nm 2.1GHz C2D 6400.
I tried to put a Pentium Dual Core E6300 in it, this is a newer 45nm 2.8GHz chip based on C2D. It would not post with this CPU at all. Is there any way to add CPU support into the Dell BIOS? I've already extracted the .ROM and .HDR files, but I couldn't find any utility that can edit the Dell BIOS. I've heard of DellDeco, but could not find it anywhere.

Do you have the latest Bios ?
Many older S775 boards were not able to handle 45nm CPU due to change in VRM specifications. Or it's a newer revision not supported by the Bios.

Not supporting Wolfdale CPUs. Interesting there's two different E6300 CPUs, one 65nm C2D

hence the confusion I think. The 2.8GHz Wolfdale is NOT supported in this system.

Yes, I have the latest BIOS, 2.6.4. It's the 45nm Wolfdale which is not support. Is it possible to add support?
