LTD\processor multiplier

Recommended by Wim's BIOS...

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could please explain these two bios settings to me?
One is LTD frequency (which is set to 5)
And the other is CPU multiplier (which is set to 8)

I'm running an asus p5n32-e sli, 4GB DDR2 memory, Inno3d 8800gts 320mb and core2duo 6420 @ 2.13ghz

FSB is quad-pumped so the actual core speed is 1066/4 = 266,5 x 8 (multiplier) = 2,13GHz

LDT = Lightning Data Transfer , old name for Hypertransport. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HyperTransport and this should only show up on an AMD version of the nForce 680i chipset. It's of no use for Intel CPUs.

Both settings should be left like they are now.
