Yep, no bios listed here:
http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/us/en ... yID=620823
The international site confirms they have no bios for download, not even the original one:
http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/ot/en ... OS=0&cid=1

Start with this:
http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/us/en ... ranty.html

If out of warranty, go here:
http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/ot/en ... phone.aspx

It's possible your CMOS battery is low/dead, replacing may solve this issue...

Hi Edwin.

Thanks for your reply.
I have tried lenovo support, but since the laptop is out of warrantee and I bought the laptop abroad my country, Lenovo shake themselves of responsibility and refuse to give me support.

the problem is defenetly a bios problem and not CMOS battery or something like that.

I'm sure that re-flashing a good bios of same laptop will solve mt problem.
the problem is finding such person with such laptop, with such BIOS :-)

I am seeing a lot of postings in the Lenovo forums getting wireless to work on the B575, try posting in there, there's quite a few people out there with this laptop.

Hi Edwin

I have "googled" b575 and came to this forum:
http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-R ... top?page=1

someone has posted a ROM file of the b575 over there.
I have d/l the ROM file and flash it into by b575.

all is back to normal.

thanks!

I have obtained the .ROM file file for my B575, but what flash utility did you use to successfully restore your BIOS? I am trying to do this via USB stick. I made the bootable USB drive, but I still need a BIOS utuility to run the .ROM from the command line. Unless you found a better way?
