I see an update in the lists for bios fixes to increase the size of the Hard drive. It is listed for the HP Vectra VEI8. HW.27.10(QHW.10.01) patched for 128GB HDD by Wim's team I have a Vectra VLI8 and it has a different bios number HZ.01.10 (19 Jan 2001) Can someone see if they can do the same fix. My old 40 GB drive is acting up and I have two 80 GB drives I could use but the current limitations drive size is 65 GB. I use this computer for my on line weather station.

Alas, your system is using a Phoenix bios for which we do not have a patching method. The only options would be to use commercial bios upgrade such as sold by esupport.com or use an add-in IDE controller card with its own bios (like a SCSI controller card).
