Bios update went bad even though update program said it was ok. Now just sits there with three lights on. Only thing that comes on is fan. Nothing else. Does this thing have boot block recovery pads ? If so, where on the board are they? If not, any other way to boot to floppy to reflash bios? I know some other laptops use a parallel port plug to activate the boot block. Thanks for the help.

Take a look on the bottom of the laptop below the RAM expansion cover, there may be something there..

The presarios have them here and the Armada's might as well..
