Most of the BIOSes I've seen with a ...1C-00 at the end are usually Award 4.50G or 4.51G BIOSes, but when they're later updated to the 4.50PG and 4.51PG core, then the numbering starts at "9" (PCCHIPS M519 BIOS, for instance).

Anyway, since your BIOS chip is most likely not flashable, you'll have to program the BIOS in another flash EEPROM chip, so it could be worth trying. If you're interested, I can upload it for you somewhere.
