BIOS Type: Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG
Chipset: Intel 440EX/LX rev 3
I really need your help. Thanks,

You need a slightly more recent BIOS. You have a Chaintech motherboard, and you can ID it by looking for its model number on the motherboard itself.

My motherboard's id is: ct-6esa2
I still have the latest bios-update (06/04/1999) running on my computer.
What can I do?

Before suggesting a BIOS patch (for large HDD support), could you please verify whether your board will take the 08/27/1999 release mentioned here:
http://www.chaintech.com.tw/DL/6xMB/6ESA2.htm
(make sure you read the "Only for...." in red).

If you're sure it doesn't, then please say so.

The update you meant is only for ct-esa2-fxxx, not for mine (ct-esa2-e100n). So i'm sure my board won't take it.

Thank you very much. The patch worked properly so the new harddrive is new detected. But another problem occured: I partitioned the new drive with the "lifeguard-tool" and after re-booting the message occured (I try to translate it in English): Windows security allert. Please restart your computer. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Since it's your second HDD, why don't you refresh and repartition it with FDISK?
There may be some incompatibility issue between Lifeguard and Windows.

Also, why don't you use the appropriate HDD utility to drop your HDD's UDMA mode to 33 (maximum supported by your chipset).
